Philosophy of Ed
As an educator, I believe that attending to a child's needs is the most important thing when it comes to education. Each individual child and student has a different learning aspect that helps them grow their education at their own pace. I want to be able to create lessons that can relate to the kid's and also make their learning fun and interesting to help them progress throughout the year. I want to make sure that my classroom is in a comfortable, peaceful environment where every child feels safe and wanted. How I would implement all of this would be hands-on experience, visuals, and repetition to make each kid learn to the best of their abilities. I want to teach my class how to be respectful, responsible, and have self-discipline in their actions. I believe that a classroom should be a peaceful place where kid's are made to learn and grow without any conflict involved. I will reinforce positive behavior by my teaching capabilities and posture at the very start, which will create a good visual to the students throughout the day. Making your kids feel accomplished is truly an amazing thing by seeing their faces light up when you give them a sticker or piece of candy for doing a task right; it makes them feel worthy in life and to keep on growing. A bond that a teacher and student has is a special and unique one when you spend so much time with them each day and not only watching their learning grow, but them growing into a positive human being is the greatest accomplishment of being a teacher.
Students need to feel support from their teacher every step that they take in your classroom. They need to feel loved and have that warm feeling that they are truly important in this world. Making the kids have responsibilities in the classroom such as paper passer, homework stamper, teacher helper, etc. Makes them feel like they can do tasks on their own which is very important in teaching young kids. Each morning I want to greet my students at the door to start their day with an exciting attitude to set the mood throughout the day.
Overall, school should be a peaceful and loving environment where students can go each morning and feel safe and welcomed.
